Happy Earth Day, y’all.
One thing I love most on this planet of ours – in addition to all the people, plants, animals, deserts, mountains and oceans – is hip-hop. And this week we lost one of hip-hop’s finest, Guru of Gang Starr. “Robbin’ Hood Theory,” “Moment of Truth,” “Tonz o’ Gunz,” “Code of the Streets”… I could go on and on. His voice was smooth and smart and will live on.
“Lyrics to live by,” for sure.
So sad.– and ‘losing people to cancer’ and ‘earth day’ are so connected. As we add toxins to the earth, we add toxins to our bodies, and cancer is the result.
Time to clean up our act.
