WHAT’S YOUR HUSTLE: I have been leading a writers support group at Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica, California, for the past 8 years. The group – and writers website – focuses on goal-setting, accountability and networking. Write On! Online has Author Q&As, Expert Articles, a monthly drawing for those who post goals, and regular writing challenges/contests designed to encourage people to give those writing muscles a workout.

I also lead workshops on Breaking through Writers Block, Marketing through Blogging and Social Networking, and Goal-Setting & Productivity.*

WHAT DOES YOUR HUSTLE MEAN TO YOU: I love helping writers find their voice and take their projects to the next level. I feel great whenever I hear I have inspired someone or receive a message that a member has been published for the first time as a result of being part of the Write On! Community.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ONLY THREE TOOLS FOR YOUR HUSTLE, WHAT WOULD THEY BE: Laptop, cell phone, camera.

A WORD OF ADVICE TO WANNABE HUSTLERS IN YOUR FIELD: Writing is like exercise – the more you do it, the better you become. Try writing in different genres/areas, because stretching your frame-of-reference and knowledge-base only makes you a better writer. And keep up the positive attitude. That will take you far!
